About Dr. Lynn Lawrence
I was the kid other kids came to for advice. It may have been my early physical development that caused me to
look older and wiser or the air of confident energy I exuded, that drew my friends and classmates to me.
Those early advice giving sessions set the stage for a lifelong succession of gathering degrees and
certificates, allowing me to hang out my shingle legitimately to help others.
In 1980, after internships in various clinics, I opened my own center offering different healing techniques,
therapy and weekend workshops. Several practitioners worked out of my center, exposing me to modalities that I
had not personally studied. This gave me a well rounded knowledge of the world of alternative medicine. I chose
to study many of the modalities so that I could fill in when the practitioners at my center were unavailable.
I caught the bug of continuing my education in many of those fields, acquiring quite a few certificates, while
continuing my formal studies at the university. While attending and then giving many workshops, I learned that
teaching others the knowledge I gleaned was my ultimate passion.
Lynn’s Favorites
I enjoy singing; dancing; gardening; yoga; running on my Jumpers™; tennis; dinner parties with friends;
spending time with children; walking in nature; reading; having meaningful conversations about Life and Spirit
with friends and family.
Spiritual Life
I am blessed to have created a lifestyle affording me with time to include in my daily practice: meditation;
yoga; spiritual readings; writing in my journal. Weekly I attend classes to further my ministerial studies.
